CAR CUSTOMIZER......

I went to The International Xtreme Autoshow held in Bukit Jalil this Christmas weekend. It was a big disappointment because I wanted to see the Jet Car 'Meltdown Show and The Double Headed Mini Cooper by the THE KUSTOMIZER USA (series show on astro ch 734) - Big Daddy, Wax Daddy, Roy Boy the very hot & sexy mechanic Jasmin and custom bike builder / stuntrider Jaky, the team was here but not the car. For me I not a big fan like my sis or my dad but I do love the airbrush design that they do on the car. Malaysia in term of customising car is like stone age even compare to Indonesia, the reason is because of all this stupid rule, here in Malaysia we cant even have car with two different colour paint jobs without being stop by money sucker traffic police. Well I not going into that issued further because it will totally be wasting my precious energy. Just let the small part of Malaysia forever stay in stone age. The rest can enjoy what few picture I had took but sorry the quality is bad because it is taken with only my phone camera.

The are the car by the Malaysia, their are only OK compare to even out neighbour country. For now this is the best they can do.

TRUE BEAUTY

This is my choice or should I said the one and only choice for this year Miss Tourism International 2009. She is Miss Thailand. I decide to post this after seeing all the contestants. I don't want to be mean but it is beyond my control. If anyone other than her winning I am sure there is something kinky going on behind the scene.

I need to truly apologist to those who are reading my blog for the bad English. I guess I had left school for to long or you can said my spoken English have always being better than written one. I hope as time goes by it can be improved if not just admired my photo because that is still my passion. As long as peoples goes wi wow over my photo that would be enough for me.

Luxury...........lifestyle.

For this posted I have decided to share my latest life enjoyment. This enjoyment are because of the fact that I work as a photographer (In the Star Publication). In the mist of the crazy MCA election last month, I thought I will surely had to covered that stupid event. However luck was really on my side. (wont be long because I will surely have to covered another stupid election "UMNO" next year, I guess that is where my bad luck start) I was pull out to the team, instead given an assignment to go to PD (Port Dickson) to covered an opening of AVI SPA resort. No one can imagine my excitement, (not for the PD assignment but for not having to covered MCA) I was really lucky right? Ok back to AVI SPA.

I am not going to write any introduction on the SPA because I am sure lots of people will know about it. Because its owned by very rich people, who can effort to advertised about it. Here I am just going to write about my thought on the place. Although if you ask me if I would spend money for a place like this, I might have second thought because I see this as rich men leisure. I am not rich just lucky that I got the opportunity to enjoy it because it is part of my work. If you are rich, you can tried the place out. If you are not than just admire my picture.




The beauty of AVI Spa purely lie with the architecture of the building. The building itself beautified a place like Port Dickson. All should know that PD have no beauty in term of an image of a beach. This is probably the last place I would go, I prefer to fly to places like Krabi because for one the water is not contaminant. (I would like to share some funny story with you. While I was there. Apart from local media there was lots of foreign media invited for the launch. After the launch, there was a beach party with non stop supply of alcohol. Late into the night, where I was getting tipsy. I headed back to the room, being a gentleman, one of the guy from the foreign press walk me back to my room. He told me his night had not yet ended because he would be going for a night deep in the sea. I told him to have fun, but deep down I was praying for him. With the status of water in PD god know what type of skin disease he will contract.)

When I first saw these place, it was like something you see out of travel magazine introducing a foreign country. All credit should go to the owner and architect for creating such beauty in Malaysia. This part of the architect is the whole beauty of the building. It give the feel of floating in the middle of the ocean. The only bad thing here is the weather, it is so hot that is where point are deducted in term of the enjoyment.

Beauty lie in the most simplest form.


I can sit here for hours looking out to no where. This is like a scene for a beautiful romantic movie.

Here is like a lounge area where you can relax before or after having your SPA. The true is I really have no idea what is this part of the space for. The design is like the house in the Korean drama Full House. It had that beach house feel to it. This is like a dream house of mine.


I am not going to write about the Spa treatment. To me SPA itself is an enjoyment, it does not matter where I have it done. I m not going to act rich and said which Spa is better and which is not. To me the best kind of message is the one I had it done in Chiang Mia. Here the advantage is after the treatment you can go out to the balcony, sit and enjoy at least 15minute where it will feel like the time had stop. I truly belief that only when time stop can one be relieve of all headache and problem. that is the closes place where one get to feel like time had stop.


To end here. I would like to said that if I can slap the people in our tourism department, I would do it. Although I had said in the beginning that I would not go to a place like this on my own money, that is because I m Malaysian. However I do belief that this is the type of places that our stupid tourism department should promote to the foreigner, purely because this is the type of place that will beautified our country. Stop living in stone age by promoting only KLCC and Citawarna Malaysia. For god sake everyone on this earth know our beautiful culture and costume, there is no need for this type of street parade anymore on. Let the world see that there is such beauty in Malaysia itself. Being a Malaysia even I would not have believe that there was such beautiful place here in Malaysia if I had not see it with my own eye.

My lucky life...................

This is a teaser to what I am about to post next. I wanted to write this post first because I like to remind myself I do have a great life. Most of the time I do forget, what to do I am only being a human being with greed implanted inside of me. Whenever I meet up with my friend, They will constantly remind me what great life I have yet most of the time I will tell them that I have my own problem and they will never understand. Maybe I am the one who don't understand. If there is a time where I sit down to think about my life for a short second, I do realise that my life is as good as it get provided I don't live in greedy world. I being to place, eat food, meet people, that for some they might never ever imagine they will go, eat or meet.

Basically what I want to said here is that if there is a next lifetime I would choose to live my life the way it is now. Being a Photographer, this is the greatest gift I have found , hope I will be one for the rest of my life.

MALAYSIA OWN HAVEN...............

Before I found this place I would not had belief that such place existed in Malaysia. Sorry for not having much fate in Malaysia beauty. I still stand by what I had always believed that is Malaysia tourism are handle by a bunch of idiot. That is why I don't believe that such place existed. Some of you might even heard of this place because Star Publication had write about it. Serendah is a small and I mean small much unknown or should I said uninterested by most Malaysian including me (or it is just me). However in this place there lie a beautiful, quite, near to heaven retreat. I really have no idea what is the name of the place but here is the website. http://www.serendah.com/home.html. Believe the actual place is 90% close to what is shown in the website. Leave the 10% to your imagination. The whole place is an enclose area with 5 living area to rent. 2 glass house, 2 mud house and one wooden house. My advice only rent the glass house because the place can house up to 6 person even more if you don't mind sleeping on the flood. The place is great to have a few friend gather together with food, unlimited alcohol that you can waste the night away.



' The entrance to heaven" Before arriving at the retreat the journey will take you through a small old town, an orange asli settlement and lots of rocking road that you feel that it goes no where. In the end you arrived to big surprise.



The glass house makes you feel like that you are living inside a forest. Its not really a glass glass house, more like a open concept house. you can enjoy it if you had being living in brick wall for most of your life. One thing does irritate the hell out of me is the noise of insect and river water running down the stream. It sounded peaceful and great most of the time except when you are trying to go to bed.


The little hole is actually the entrance to the living room, so another advice would be if you were to bring children along make sure you keep close eye on them.



The living room is connected to the barbecue spot. you can sit in or out. This is the best enjoyment for being away from the buzzing noise of traffic and actually enjoy a meal with friend. Most of the time when you go out and have meal with friend, you will be surrounded by people. Here you can actually sit together and hear each other voice loud and clear.


The greatest perk here is the pool. Here again, the best advice from me is to rent this place on weekday. That you have more chance of booking the place all by yourself and you can enjoy the place more. The water is as clear as it get, not sure where the water come from but we thought that it might come from mountain. Sia actually taste it and said that there was no chlorine put in it (pls don't fully take my word for this). When I told my friend who was going later that it was mountain water, he actually drink it and thank god he did not die. He said there was chlorine in it



I don't know how death I would be for posting this picture but I cant really resisted it. I was wondering how I would caption the second picture, the best I could come up with is Sia trying to do Yoga and Yoke Teng is trying to think of way to imitate but fail.


Lastly the sleeping place. Not so important because that would be the last thing you do in place like this. It will be waste to sleep. They provided mosquito net for the sleeping area but let me tell you that there is no such need. To my very surprise knowledge there was no mosquito. We were really well prepared for this ( Yoke Teng and I make sure of all the thing we must bring repellent). I don't know why there was no mosquito but I do have another theory, when we first reach there Yoke Teng being afraid of getting mosquito bite, she spray a whole can on her body maybe she had become our repellent.


We have excellent cook there namely Sia(person in yellow shirt), we didn't used the barbecue instead we made our own grill seafood and steamboat. Most of cooking utensil are available there but in case you might want to bring a knife because the knife they have there are useless.




Going to this place you will be leaving behind what one is used to in their everyday life, traffic, noise (except the one coming from the insect) and electronic item which is to me the biggest disturbance of our life (phone ringing non stop). The best thing to do is to drink the night away. Just another word of advice. When I said drink the night away it is an enjoyment but if you get drunk its a nightmare but still a great memory.

SORRY SORRY SORRY..............

I know what a slacker I'm when it come to updating my blog which is why it took me like a life time to start a blog. Lucky I have constants nagging from a particular friend to remind me to update. My next update would not be on Taiwan because I don't have certain info like the hotel we stay in. The rest of my stay in Taiwan was organised by my other friend. So until i get to info, I will blog about other stuff. Later I will come back to blog about the rest of my trip to Taiwan.

Taiwan was the reason why I started to blog, I being thinking how should or what should I write about after Taiwan. To write just on travel would be hard as I m not rich enough to travel so often. To write about food I m no critic, I only know how to eat. In the end I decide I would just write about what come to mind and interesting that I encounter. Don't expect too much, right now the most interesting that is happening is I finally found the beauty of shopping online. Let just said I have gotten a bit crazy with my friend YIP YOKE TENG.
