(Photo credit to Teng). I learned a long time ago that the best kind of holiday is going to places and doing thing that is out of the ordinary. The great thing about home stay 柚子家 is that they show you a different kind of holiday in Hualian. They recommend the norm but they also want you to see thing that leave you with different kind of memory from other tourist. When I first saw on their blog a post with title 讓時間停留在 時光二手書 (Direct translate "spare some time and stop by Time secondhand bookstore")again I told Teng is a must stop by.
The place is like going back memory lane. You walk through alley looking for a plain wooden house, once inside is like back in the 60.....
Once you enter it feel like you have walk into a small kindergarten library.
The place is like a timeline the deeper you go inside the further you go back in time.
I really like this photo, this is Teng aunt indulge in the music she is listening to....So peaceful.
While we were there we met up with an old friend 三間仔.
