Thistle Port Dickson........Another Paradise

Here I am back to writing about Port Dickson. I know I am a hypocrite, I always said if by choice I would not go there for holiday but since my sis had started a new job at a newly renovated hotel called Thistle which was formally known as Guoman. My parent decided to go on a one day road trip to Port Dickson and to check out where my sis work......To my surprise I like waht I saw. The hotel is like hidden tuck away hotel. It had a clean cut designed so it look simple yet classic. Another thing is the open space that create new fresh atmosphere.

My road trip start off early, my dad decided to used the old road where we don't have to paid toll........it was a nice drive passing through the greenery view along the way. We decided to stop by at Kajang for breakfast....I was Fascinated with the old method of cooking half boil egg and it was delicious.

I don't have much photo of the trip because basically I reached the hotel walk around and sit down and play my DS. Believe me that is the best kind of road trip for me. The reason why I like the hotel bis ecause it was really relaxing just to do nothing. The photo is as beautiful as it show in the photo.

This is the Lobby.

This was basically where I spend my whole day and my favorite spot in the hotel. The view overlook the swimming pool and the breeze was really refreshing.

Wedges, Ice lemon tea, Mp3, my DS and no need to use my brain.

The view from the hotel....

My sis took me to check out their suite. it is great because it is like having a place all to yourself. It have an open theme concept connecting everything together.

Asha Gill.........

"She is a bit difficult" was what I was told before meeting up with Asha Gill for a StarMag photo shoot. Most will know I hate taking photo of celebs as most of them have nose pointing up toward the sky. To my surprise I was greeted with a big smile (even when I arrived late) on the day of the shoot. She have the most genius smile and laughter on and off camera. Even when posing for the shoot, she is as natural as it get.

CAPTURE.........Respect

From the time I held onto a camera I know photography is what I want to do for the rest of my life because of all these new technology the skill of photography is getting less and less appreciated. Everyone can be a photographer. In Malaysia word are more important than photo. Often people will tell me that we only invite writer, we don't need a photographer. At the end of the day, to me word can be alter but not photo. Photo is memory in the future.

No matter how beautiful word are used to described this rose, people can only imagine. Photo give the reality of the image.

A TRUE 1MALAYSIA ICON.....

Always love her commercial, never a big fan of her movie but when heard of her death a sense of hope lose is felt. Everyone used their mouth to speak of 1Malaysia yet she is the only one who truly practice the concept. The saddest thing is most us who know her and those who don't pay tribute to her, yet there are many who just keep their silence. Here I want to just said thank you where ever u maybe......

CHEER TO SOJU

My first choice for favorite food is definitely Japanese second would be Korean food. It didn't start of that way. How could anyone fall for kimchi. If you don't like it there is no word to describe the bad taste but if you like it you don't know why either. I know I start to like drinking soju, with soju it seem to bring out the great taste in Korean food. Most Korean restaurant I had being to had all being satisfying but there is one I always go back to. Restaurant Korean House located in SS2, near the police station facing the main road. The price is reasonable, most of the main dish as well as the side dish taste really good (non stop refill) and the best is the service, they are top notch.

A few day ago me and few girlfriend had a great night with dinner and bottle of soju.

We didn't order the usual BBQ dish this time instead we had steamboat. For those who always have BBQ you should tried the steamboat. The taste is really good and it feel less oily. Do you see the amount of seafood this is not for photo purpose, this is the actual serving of the dish. Only order this when are with a group of friend. This is a small portion order and the four of us cant finish it at all. The dish might seem pricey to some but with the amount of ingredients it is actually worth it. The dish is known as seafood steamboat.

Side dish are really important in Korean cuisine, here they may not have the most dish served compared to other Korean restaurant. If I am not mistaken some restaurants can served up to 13 dish here they served about 9 dish. Most of the time I only take the dish I like. The important thing here is most of the side dish they prepared taste really good at least for my taste bug.

Another dish I always order is Korean mix rice in stone hot plate, I think it is call Bibimbop. This also took me a few more time before I slowly started liking the taste.

This is one dish I highly recommend, the steam egg. It come free when you order the BBQ dish or you can paid for it. There is a trick to getting it for free, that is to act desperately in love with it. Now most of the time I get it for free.
